Fundraising

Where the money goes...

Over the past few years, the funds raised by the PTA have subsidised school trips, funded author visits, funded instruments, and new books, refurbished the school's library, funded visits from the Life Bus as well as helped pay for a memorial bench for our previous beloved caretaker Mr Younger. One major funding project this year is to install fresh air fitness equipment in the field which will be available for children to use during play time and PE. For further details please refer to our regular committee meeting minutes.

There are many ways you can help to raise funds, by supporting the regular PTA events such as the children's disco, the Summer and Christmas Fairs, the regular class cake sales, and our occasional special events including the sponsored Bounce, Quiz Night, and our visit from the circus.

There are also additional ways that you can help...

Employer Match Funding

A simple way to maximise the fundraising efforts of individual PTA volunteers. Check if there are any arrangements where your employer pledges to match a sum of money relating to the amount you have either raised by helping at one of our PTA events or donated to a charity. As an example, one employer donates £250 yearly as part of their community cashback scheme to a PTA member for volunteering at a PTA event.

The PTA have now opened an account with Benevity to enable the school to receive donations from employers who use this company.

Please check with your employer in case you can help!
