HEADTEACHER'S WELCOME

Welcome to our beautiful school. We work in partnership with parents and carers, staff, governors, and Mosaic Schools Learning Trust to ensure that our children succeed in all aspects of their learning. As a result, our pupils achieve very well across the whole curriculum and go on to secondary school, equipped with the tools they need to be learners for life.

Our vision for our pupils is for them to become successful learners, confident and responsible citizens. We strive for all our pupils to be respectful, resilient and resourceful individuals who have a curiosity for the world around them. To achieve this, we deliver a well-planned and child-centred curriculum that is engaging, globally aware, diverse, challenging and creative. Our curriculum ensures that children take an active part in their own learning, developing their knowledge, skills and interests.

We passionately believe that every child can achieve their full potential, so we support children’s confidence in their own unique abilities and encourage them to take pride in all their achievements. We focus on the ‘whole child’– their happiness, their health and their well-being.

As part of Mosaic Schools Learning Trust, Wickham Common Primary School benefits from working closely within a family of four local primary schools with whom we collaborate and share good practice whilst still retaining our individual identity and ethos.

We want all our children to come to Wickham Common Primary School to be happy and safe in their daily learning challenges. We will never put a ceiling on learning and constantly look for opportunities for all pupils to excel, enabling our pupils to thrive and celebrate their achievements.

We would be delighted to welcome you to our school. Please contact the school office directly (the details can be found on the “Contact” page on our website) with any queries you may have or to make an appointment to visit us to experience our school community and its environment.
